New Delhi: National President of the Party of Bharatiya Janata Jagat Prakash Nadda on Wednesday unfurled a national flag at the party headquarters in Delhi as part of the Republican Day celebration 73.
Like every year in the national capital, this year also, the glimpse of the country’s strength and culture will be seen in Rajpath.
President of RAM Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and other officials will be present on this occasion.
At around 10:05 a.m., Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay tribute to soldiers who make the highest sacrifice for the country by reaching out to the commemoration of the National War.
During that time the Defense Minister, Rajnath Singh, Minister of State for the Ajay Bhatt defense, Defense Secretary, Ajay Kumar, and head of three army wings, namely the Air Force, and the Navy, will come with PM.
At 10:15 a.m., PM Modi is scheduled to reach Rajpath.
Parade in Rajpath will start at 10:30 a.m., instead of the previous time at 10 am to provide better visibility to the parade and Flypast.
This year’s special celebration when Republic Day fell in the 75th year of independence, was celebrated as ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ throughout the country.
To mark the opportunity, the Ministry of Defense has made a series of new events during the main parade in Rajpath on January 26 and ‘beat the retreat ceremony in Vijay Chowk on January 29.
It has been decided that Republican Day celebrations will be now during weeks from January 23-30 every year.
The celebration will begin on January 23, the birthday of the birth of Great Forest Fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, and led to January, 30 which was observed as a martyr.
