Hyderabad: In a strange accident, a 73-year-old bus passenger was destroyed to death between two TSRTC buses at the Rathifile bus station in Secunderabad on Sunday.
Police Gopalpuram said the Septuagenarian S Durga Prasad came down from the bus (traveling between Nampally and Secunderabad) from the front door.
Then, he began walking in front of the bus to reach the other side of the road.
Meanwhile, another bus (traveling between Dilsukhnagar and Secunderabad), which was parked in front of the bus from where Prasad went down, began to move with his driver upside down, regardless of Prasad.
Durga was destroyed between two buses and he fell.
Senior residents began to stretch in pain and cried for help, who were heard by others at the bus station and they came to save him.
After the driver was told about the accident, he immediately drove a bus forward.
The police reached the place.
When the ambulance reached the location, the victim died.
The police said based on PAN cards, which recovered from the victim’s pocket, officials knew about his identity.
The driver was detained by the Gopalpuram police and a case registered in the 304-A section (negligence that caused death) from the IPC.
