New Delhi: stated that nearly 75 percent of those who had surrendered to Covid-19 in the city were unclear, Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Friday said that around 25,000 new cases were expected today.
The city on Thursday reported 28.867 Covid-19 cases, a surge in the sharpest one day since the pandemic began, and 31 deaths, while the level of prisoners jumped to 29.21 percent, according to the Ministry of Health data.
The biggest daily surge in Delhi was 28,395 cases recorded on April 20 last year.
According to official data, of the 97 people who died here because Covid, between January 9 to January 12, 70 people were not vaccinated, while 19 had taken the first Jab and eight vaccinated.
“Nearly 75 percent of the people who died because Coronavirus did not even take a single dose of vaccines.
It is important to be vaccinated.
There are also examples where people experience severe illnesses before they contract Covid-19,” Jain was recorded.
The minister added that more than 13,000 hospital beds lay empty in the city.
