New Delhi: Indian Railways will operate 75 Vande Bharat trains throughout the country in the next 75 weeks, PM Narendra Modi announced on Sunday.
This means this train with a maximum design speed of 180 kmps will operate in August 2023.
He also announced that work connecting all the capitals of the state in the northeast by the train will be finished soon.
The train has placed orders for 44 trains and the first prototype will be launched in March next year.
PM said, “Today, the history of new connectivity is being written in the Northeast.
The work connects all the capital of the northeastern state with the train service will be finished soon.”
