Tuticorin: The coastal security group and district police have confiscated 76 kg of marijuana worth Rs 7.6 lakh.
Seizures are based on the tip-off received by the coastal security group.
The police said that they found a car in a suspicion in Keep Vaipar near Kulathur on Wednesday night.
Seeing the police, the trio inside the vehicle left the car and escaped from the place.
The police looking for vehicles found four sacks with dried marijuana leaves in it.
