76% of school students above 18 do not stab even once

Ludhiana: Because more and more schools for offline classes amid the possibility of the third wave, the data department of Ludhiana has revealed that 76% of students over 18 in schools and private schools have not received a dose of Covid -19 vaccine so far.

In private schools, only 43% of students over 18 years were vaccinated only once.
There are a total of 3,117 students studying in private schools, where 1,773 (56.08%) have not received even one dose of vaccine.
From this, 1,344 (43.11%) students only get their first dose.
The District Nodal Officer (Vaccination) of the Ministry of Education Limin Madian said, “We have a target to discuss every student who is above 18 and teachers for vaccination.
We have received a medical certificate from the teacher and plans to arrange vaccination camps for students, but we too Want to approval from their parents.
“The authorities are now trying to increase coverage by organizing more camps and counseling parents whose agreement is taken for vaccination.
Among the teachers, 72 teaching in government schools and 842 private schools in the district have not received a vaccine dose so far.
Data revealed that out of 7,467 teachers in government schools, 72 government teachers have not received a dose of covid vaccine.

Of the 23,347 teachers in private schools, 842 private teachers have not received a single dose of covid vaccine.

The target is to achieve 100% vaccination among teachers before Teacher’s Day (September 5).
