7,674 goons held in 10 days in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: A total of 7,674 Got and those involved in anti-social activities have been captured under Section 151 of the Criminal Procedure in the state in the last 10 days, according to the data with the police.

ADGP (Law and orders) Vijay Sakhare said that the police regularly examined them with criminal antecedents.
“This is a sustainable process and those who have such records will often be examined and they will be under the supervision of the constant police,” he said.
The police have also canceled 53 guarantees for those who had violated the condition of the guarantee, and arrested 549 people involved in violations of the body but were not arrested for several reasons.
At the same time, only in 29% of the total process initiated by the police below the Section 107 CRPC (preventive arrest) had an executive judge issued their arrest orders.
According to data, only 187 orders have been spent even though the police initiated 639 processes below this section.
The police have created a special action group against organized crime (SAGOC) in the state in all district police offices on December 16.
SAGOC was being led by anti-narcotics cell DSP, which was assisted by two officers.
Sub-inspectors, and 10 police officers, under the supervision of the entire district police chief.
ADGP Manoj Abraham has been appointed as Nodal Sagoc official.
SAGOC is the supervision team for this operation at the District Head Office, while in each police station, one sub-inspector and two policemen coordinates Sagoc activities.
Anti-organized crime cells (AOCC) are under the control of the Sho of the Police Station.
In accordance with the guidelines formulated for the functioning of Sagoc, all those who have been involved in violations of the body will be arrested, and those involved in organized crime and goonda activities will be monitored.
Not only people like that, but also their friends, legs and their meeting places will also be monitored.
If people like that come out on guarantees, they will be closely monitored if they violate one of the conditions of the guarantee, and the sources of income of these people will also be under supervision.
The police had intensified hard action after several incidents of violence by Goton reported from various parts of the country.
