New Delhi: The prevalence of positive Covid-19 cases has increased rapidly in the past two weeks, with 77% of residents surveyed by local circles who know someone test positive in their near network in the last 30 days.
Of the 77% who have 1 person or more impact with Covid, 36% now know more than 5 individuals test positive in the last 30 days.
On Wednesday, India reported 2,89,990 new cases, taking the total count of the country to 3.79 crores.
Active cases have surged to 18.31,000, the highest in 232 days.
