Thiruvananthapuram: The country witnessed 7,738 positive cases of 76,043 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
Among new cases detected, 6,491 people have taken vaccinations, 2,734 has taken both doses, and 1,984 has not even taken a single dose.
The current total active case is 78,122, where 8.8% of people are accepted both in hospitals or other care centers.
Meanwhile, 56 Covid deaths were confirmed, taking dead victims in the state to 30,685.
At the same time, 5,460 patients have recovered from this disease.
Among new cases, 7,375 cases have been infected through local deployment.

Ernakulam reported the highest number of cases with 1,298, followed by Thiruvananthapuram (1,089), Thrishikode (759).
There are a total of 2,68,223 people currently observing in various countries, where 2,60,318 are in their homes or institutional quarantine centers, and 7,905 in isolation in hospitals.
In accordance with the weekly infection population ratio, 211 wards in 158 local bodies have more than 10% WIPR.
