Ghaziabad: A total of eight cases of dengue fever were reported in the city on Tuesday.
According to officials, Dengue larvae found around 30 places during a survey conducted by the Malaria Department in various places.
So far, dengue mosquito breeding has been found in more than 100 places, and notifications have been issued for 14 companies.
District malaria officers, GK Mishra, said, “a total of 20 teams of malaria departments were involved in the survey and had found larvae in Vasundhara, Indirapuram, Shalimar Park, Vijay Nagar, Nehru Nagar, Raj Nagar, Jalan Railroad, King.” He added that together With publishing notifications to all places where larvae are found, anti-larval sprays have also been made.
“Private hospitals have been warned not to provide information about dengue and malaria patients to the department,” the officer said.
Dr.
RK Gupta District Supervision Officer said five dengue fever patients were residents of Ghaziabad, while three came from other districts and underwent treatment at a private hospital here.
The patient’s condition is said to be stable.
There were no new malaria cases reported on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the National Vector-Transmitted Disease Control Team also examined five places in the district on Tuesday.
