Jaipur: At least 11 people were burned alive while one died of hospital injuries following a collision between the bus and tanker in the Barmer-Jodhpur national highway near Bhandawas in the Barmer district of Rajasthan on Wednesday morning.
The collision was so severe that the whole bus was engulfed in fire.
The rescue team could not enter the bus even hours after the fire was watered, police said.
According to the police, 22 passengers with burns undergoing treatment at a hospital at Balotra Regency Barmer.

Many serious burnt passengers are being referred to Jodhpur, who have better medical facilities.
Minister of Ashok Gehlot tweeted that he spoke to the District Collector and SP to ensure immediate medical presence from injury.
