Letter: 8-month-old boy was rushed to a private hospital in critical condition on Friday after he was found in an unconscious state.
The baby was allegedly slammed on the bed by a female caregiver when his parents were not at home in the Rander area.
Police Rander ordered the Komal Komal Tandelkar (27) for allegedly struggling with a baby based on the complaint submitted by the father of the son of Mithesh Patel, a sports teacher in a private school.
The woman was charged with an attempt to murder (IPC 307).
Patel and his wife, a faculty in ITI, hired Tandelkar to take care of their twins because they both had to go to work.
Their neighbors recently told them that their boys cried a lot when they were alone with caregivers.
Because of suspicion, Patel installed CCTV cameras at home without telling Tandelkar.on Friday, Tandelkar was called Patel to tell them that one of the boys fainted and Patel flowed to the hospital where he admitted.
“The boy has suffered a brain injury and is in a ventilator.
The initial investigation has revealed that Tandelkar slammed the baby hard on a mattress that resulted in a serious head injury.
Accused of being ordered for murder efforts,” said a police officer.
