8 New Covid Cases in Lucknow, 2 have traveled

Lucknow: Eight people in the city were diagnosed with Covid-19 on Monday.
Seven of these, including four family members, came to the command hospital.
There are 33 active cases now.
Meanwhile, nearly 53,000 people in all districts took JAB against Covid-19.
The Ministry of Health officials said that among those tested positive, four recently visited Jhansi and Unnao, while two other people had traveled to Maharashtra and Kerala.
“Nearly 70% of cases from 83 reported in September have a history of travel to other countries with higher Caseload,” said Dr Milind Vardhan, additional Chief Medical Officer.
He also said that circular has been issued for higher education institutions to test students if they come after visiting the state with high Caseload.

MK Singh’s immunization officer said, “At the end of the month, we aim to cover the entire population with at least one shot.”
