Ahmedabad: The Ministry of Health Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) states that eight new micro detention zones on Friday bring the total number of micro-active detention zones in the city to 29.
The zone is located in areas such as Shahibaug, Gota, Vastrang, Navrangpura, New Ranip and in nikol.
A total of 44 houses with 191 residents had been brought to the bottom of the micro detention zone.
On Thursday, AMC has stated 10 new micro detention zones in the fields including satellites, Vastrapur, Jodhpur and Makarba.
A total of 11 houses with 58 residents in one block of housing communities located behind the VASNA bus stop were brought based on micro detention.
While 12 houses with 46 residents on three floors in a block in Gota were declared the detention zone.
Four houses located behind St Xaveir’s school in Navrangpura have contained micro.
AMC has stopped the practice of placing buildings in the Micro Detention Zone in the last week of May.
However, the practice has been continued since November as Gujarat and Ahmedabad marked the trend in the case of Covid-19.

The meeting was attended by the District Development Officer, Deputy Commissioner and Health Official and Deputy Police Commissioner of the Amc Zonal Police.
