Patna: Bihar reported eight new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, pushing the calculation to 7,26,098, the Bulletin Health Department said on Sunday.
From new cases, three reported from Kishanganj, each two in Patna and Madhubani and one from Samastipur.
There are no new cases reported from 34 other districts.
The state has 47 active cases on Sunday, said Bulletin.
At least nine people recovered in the last 24 hours, took the total recovery amount to 7.16,390 at a rate of 98.66%.
Overall, 5.05 crore samples have been tested for Covid in the state so far, including 2,26,443 in the last 24 hours.
As many as 26 districts in Bihar do not have coronavirus patients and eleven districts have one-digit active case.
Patna still has 22 medical cases.
Meanwhile, 2,17,191 the Covid-19 vaccine dose was managed throughout the state on Sunday.
So far, more than 6.81 crore doses have been given in the state, including the first jab of up to 4.98 crores.
About 1.83 crore people get their second dose.
