Ludhiana: Eight residents of Ludhiana and four patients from outside the district tested positive Covid-19 here on Wednesday.
Without death reported that day, the calculation of the district victims was at 2,105 and that outsiders here were 1,053.
For dates, 26,40,990 people have been tested.
Of the eight new cases, three are contacts from positive patients, three comes from the corner of the flu, and two through the search process.
The district case count was 87,586 and Outsiders here was 11,696.So far, 85,453 patients had recovered, which was 97.56% of the total cases.
There are 28 active cases.
On Wednesday, 7,528 samples were collected this was the fourth micro detention zone here since October 11.
The other three are urban plantations, Dugri, Phase II, a block at BRS Nagar and the colony in Chander Nagar.
