Chandrapur: The stage is all set to launch Covid vaccination in the district for 15 to 18 years from Monday.
About 76,000 children will be vaccinated in the district.
The estimated vaccination rate for this age group in Chandrapur is 14,000.
The official source at Chandrapur Municipal Corporation informs that vaccination for targeted age groups will begin at eight vaccination centers in the city.
However, there will be no drive vaccination for these children in their school or college, like now.
Eight centers including the NULM office, across from high school, ITI government, Warora Naka Hospital, District Hospital, Lalpeth Hospital, Rabindranath Tagore Municipal School, Vitthal Mandir Ward, Punjab Seva Samiti Vivekanagar and Zakir Hussain School in Dadmahal Ward.

Nivrutti Rathod informed that vaccination in rural areas for the age group 15 to 18 will begin in centers dedicated to Covaxin.
He said when the Covaxin stock at the low, the lower number of Covaxin centers was being activated in the district.
“The plan is to launch vaccination drives for groups of 15 to 18 at the school and college level from next week.
Covid vaccination drives will be carried out together with inoculation for Japanese encephalitis starting Monday,” he said.
