JAGRAON: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Vaccination Jagraon-Nodal Officers Javaron Jassal said on Monday that 80 percent of eligible people had received the first dose of the Coronavirus vaccine and 32 percent had been fully vaccinated with both doses in the Ludhiana district.

According to the State Government’s report, until Saturday night, more than 60.7% of the total population in the district has received the first dose while 21.2% of people get both doses.
Inaugurating the Covid-19 vaccination camp in the local market committee, Nodal Vaccination officers said that Ludhiana had 263272 people who qualified for vaccination and until October 2, the first dose had been given to 2097002 people, while 844306 people were fully vaccinated (given the second dose) at Ludhiana District.
He said that the vaccine would provide residents’ protection against deadly viruses and even if anyone contracted infection because of the work of their larger interaction, it would not threaten the lives and would be light.
He added that Jab that saves this life like a helmet that saves biker from head injury, the main cause behind the deaths on the crash, also the vaccine will prevent severity.

Nayan Jassal also asked for Fulsome support from people to load a pandemic as soon as possible by receiving a maximum vaccine in the nearest government / private health institutions.
