TRICHY: A train carrying 80 tonne of liquid oxygen in Bhilai at Chhattisgarh attained Trichy on Saturday morning.
The air has been spread to 13 places in the central area and some different districts.
The train filled with liquid oxygen at the tankers came at Goodshed lawn of Trichy Railway Division.
Municipal administration minister KN Nehru, Trichy collector S Sivarasu and many others visited the lawn.
Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Government Hospital (MGMGH) at Trichy has been awarded 12 tonne of liquid medical oxygen.
Thanjavur Government Medical College Hospital has been additionally allocated 12 tonne of oxygen.
Government Raja Mirasudar Hospital at Thanjavur obtained six tonne of oxygen.
Tiruvarur Government Medical College Hospital has been allocated 10 tonne of oxygen.
The amount of liquid oxygen provided to other areas has been –Government Medical College Hospital at Pudukottai — 8 tonne, Karur Government Medical College Hospital — seven tonne, Kumbakonam — 4 tonne, Nagappattinam — 4 tonne, Mayiladuthurai — 4 tonne, Ariyalur — two tonne and Perambalur — 1 tonne.
Namakkal and Dindigul districts have been spent five tonne of oxygen .
Minister Nehru stated that MGMGH includes a decent supply of medical oxygen.
“Covid-19 instances are coming back.
Beds from the hospital are getting to be vacant.
Even should a third wave strikes, the state authorities will be completely ready,” he told the terrorists.
