“Even if the Covid case unfortunately sees an increase in the coming weeks, we will prioritize the opening of our civil hospital first, such as Thergaon Hospital, Jijamata Hospital, Akurdi Hospital, New Bhosari Hospital, and others, to serve patients.

When asked about the shift of beds and other medical equipment from the jumbo unit to the Civic Hospital a few months ago, Dhakane admitted that the Civic body did do what was needed, but added that if needed, the bed and equipment would be made available again in the Jumbo Unit Without failing.
