800 textile units in Barmer were told to close the store

Jaisalmer: Rajasthan pollution control agency (RPCB) has ordered a shutdown of more than 800 textile units at Balotara in Barmer Regency for releasing waste to the LUNUNI river to the reverse osmosis generator (RO) 18mld began.
The Board also has a serious record for delays at the beginning of the 18mLD Reverse Osmosis (RO) which is set to process the waste that drains into the river.
The council has warned strict action will be taken against units that sacrifice orders.
Although the RO factory is almost ready, carelessness on the trust of the General Effluent Processing Plant (CETP) has caused a delay in the factory.
Even though the National Green Tribunal (NGT) has also ordered a strict ban on the release of waste into the river, he failed to prevent units of draining pollutants into the water.
Seeing the situation, the RPCB issued an order on September 13 to CETP to stop the textile unit from the operation.
According to information, CETP’s belief itself did not follow the command of Thde NGT and Pradushan Nivaran Evum Paradaran Sankarshan Samitan, told the Chairperson of the RPCB to Veenu Gupta.
Samiti Secretary Om Prakash Soni said if CETP fully obeyed the NGT command, pollution problems could be solved mostly.
The Textile Unit in Balotara has functions for the past 40 years but has done a little valuable to save the environment.
A member of the RPCB Anand Mohan said the council recorded a serious carelessness of CETP carelessness by not starting the RO factory that led the textile unit to release polluted water to the river.
He said that CETP’s belief had told the council that the RO factory was ready but when examined it was not operational.
In this case, letters were written to CETP to start the factory on January 27, March 24, and on April 15.
Mohan said the plant was almost ready and can be made operational in 2-4 days if they want.
