Mumbai: Maharashtra on Friday reported 802 new Covid-19 cases, the lowest daily number since May 2, 2020, and 17 new deaths, said a health department official.
With this addition, the calculation of Covid-19 cases in the country increased to 66.16.101, while the death toll rose to 1,40,362, he said.
The country has witnessed swimming in the new Covid-19 case, a calculation that comes in the back of less than 60,000 tests, and also death compared to Thursday, when it has recorded 1,141 cases of Covid-19 and 32 deaths.
In 802, Maharashtra has reported the lowest number of Covid-19 cases since May 2, 2020, when it has recorded 790 cases of infection and 36 deaths.
The official said 886 patients were dismissed from the hospital in the last 24 hours, pushing the number of cases restored to 64.57,149.
The state now has 14,959 active cases.
He said 1.49,126 people are currently in home quarantine and 994 in institutional quarantine.
The recovery rate of Covid-19 Maharashtra is at 97.6 percent, while the death rate is 2.12 percent.
The cumulative number of tests in the country rose to 6.31.04.874, where 57,290 was carried out in the last 24 hours, the lowest in several times, the official said.
Ten districts and nine city companies did not report a new Covid-19 case.
However, the Ministry of Health does not release separate cases for districts and regions under the city company.
“For the period of 4 to 7 November, because the Daily Festival Daily positive cases are shown as their district and distribution figures between the district and city corporation have not been shown,” he said.
Mumbai reported 236 newest infections, followed by Ahmednagar Regency in 103.
Among the eight Maharashtra regions (each consisting of the district set), the Mumbai region reported 364 new Covid-19 cases, followed by the Pune region in 252.
Among the regions Others, the Nashik region reported 131 new cases, Aurangabad and 19th, Kolhapur 10, Akola Lima and the Nagpur region.
The Mumbai region reported the highest confusion between eight regions, followed by three in Nashik, two in Pune and one in the Kolhapur region.
However, the latter, Aurangabad, Nagpur and Akola, however, did not report death in the last 24 hours.
The official said Mumbai watched 236 new Covid-19 cases and four deaths, while Pune City data was not available.
Among the 14,959 active cases in the state, Mumbai Regency has the highest at 4,114, he said.
The official said among 64.57,149 patients who were restored throughout the country, the highest – 11,32,727 – came from Pune District.
