Thiruvananthapuram: A total of 8,037 new Covid-19 cases were reported from 80,134 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
A total of 102 deaths were recently confirmed because Covid and the victims were killed in the country now 13,819.
At the same time, 11,346 patients have recovered from disease and today, there are 1,00,626 people under supervision in the state.
The current TPR is 10.03%.
Among new cases, 7,361 cases have been infected through local deployment.
Infectious contact sources cannot be traced to 698.
There are 37 health professionals among those infected and 15 people have arrived from outside the country.
Thrissur with 922 reported the highest number of cases, followed by Palakkad (902), Malappuram (894), Kozhikode (758), Thiruvananthapuram (744), Kollam (741), Ernakulam (713), alappuzha (545)), Kasaragod (360) , Kottayam (355), Pathanamthitta (237), Idukki (168) and Wayanad (138).
So far, 28,66,806 people have recovered from Koronavirus infection in the state.
As many as 2,36,36,292 samples were sent for testing until now.
The number of people infected through local contact is Thrissur (917), Palakkad (496), Malappuram (862), Kozhikode (741), Thiruvananthapuram (648), Kollam (739), Ernakulam (689), Alappuzha (527), Kasaragod ( 359), Kottayam (346), Pathanamthitta (232), Idukki (164) and Wayanad (135).
The number of patients tested negatively is Thiruvananthapuram (1,209), Kollam (1,290), Pathanamthitta (459), Alappuzha (607), Kottayam (300), Idukki (318), Ernakulam (1,513), palackad (1,513), palackad (1,513) , 943), Malappuram (1,188), Kozhikode (1,041), Wayanad (314), Kannur (406) and Kasaragod (653).
There were a total of 3,94,627 people currently observing in various countries, where 3,70,055 were in their homes or institutional quarantine centers and 24,572 in isolation in hospitals.
