Nagpur: The Department of Malaria and Filaria Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has confirmed 82 more dengue cases in the city from 1 to 13 July.
Commissioner of the city of Radhakrishnan B on Thursday instructed all zones to survey at least 500 houses around each dengue fever patient during a special meeting.
Civil heads also requested all the commissioners and assistants of the additional city commissioners to review preventive measures every day.
The civil body that was worried had surveyed 1,43 lakh places and found mosquito nurseries at 85,428 spots in June.
All 10 zones have also surveyed 66,903 houses in the same month.
Of these, 1,571 was found to breed dengue larvae in cooling, water containers, flower pots, plastic and lip items.
In June, the department has confirmed 98 cases from 149 suspected of serum samples from all cities.
Spurt in the case of dengue fever has begun since May when 20 cases are detected.
Adjust the children and a middle-aged woman died in June which remained the only alleged fatality of this year’s bloody fever so far.
More than 100 cases of positive dengue fever reported in all 2020 civil teams must educate people about this.
It must be ensured that there is no water contamination that occurs in flower pots, cooling tanks, tires, and all the potential points.
He urged residents to observe dry days once a week and take care of children.
He also said that the list of high-risk places must be prepared so that fever clinics can begin in the area.
NMC will collect serum samples from these places.
Commissioner Imbi Ram Joshi said the zone had to start more gappi fish centers to prevent the spread of dengue fever.
