Gurgaon: A total of 82,012 households in 166 villages in the district received clean drinking water from beats under Jal Jeevan’s mission, Secretary of the Head of Haryana Vijay Vardhan was informed by the district government during a virtual review meeting on Thursday.

“They (women) are trained to check water quality.
The government will provide a test kit for them and science students in village schools so that the villagers themselves can examine the quality of drinking water in each village,” added Bansal.
At the meeting, Vardhan also discussed topics such as road repairs, the availability of manure, rice procurement, plant residual management, etc.
