83% Barodian Pay Digital Fines by 2020

The police department has recently started collecting on spot traffic punishment through the Point of Sale (POS) machine.
Traffic police have been given 120 post machines covering 60 different points in the city.
Every time commuting is caught committing traffic violations, the police offer them options to pay with cash or debit / credit cards.
In the last 45 days, the police have issued 11,412 traffic scraps and collected Rs 63.77 lakh.
Of this number, 9,531 memo paid with cash when the rest with the card.
“Gradually, we will delete all Challan books and use the Post Machine for Chaltan.
Digitalization will help us keep the record of all such fines,” Singh added.
