83 industrial plots offered, 1,450 applies to them …

Greater Noida: The authority of the large Noida Industrial Development (Gnida) on Friday held a lottery for 83 industrial plots, where the number of applications was 17 times.
Officials said there were 1,450 applications for plots, which ranged from 450 to 2,000 square meters.
More than 1,350 of these applicants chose to pay once, officials said.
On November 3, Gnida has announced a scheme for 90 industrial plots at Ecotech 1 extension 1 and Ecotech 6 sectors.
While 83 of this plot must be offered after the draw, the remaining seven – which measures more than 4,000 square meters – will be given after the interview.
Officials said 83 industrial plots are expected to generate RS 173 Crore income for Gnida and investment around Rs 700 Crore.
About 2,000 people tend to get job opportunities too.
“All plots are taken and many of allotte choose for one-time payment.
The larger Noida Authority will get Rs 173 Crore from this,” said Narendra Bhoooshan, CEO of Gnida.
Lots of lottery began at 11 am at the Gnida Auditorium.

Of the 83 plots offered, seven were 450sqm in a temporary size of 49 each 1,000sqm.
27 The remaining plots measured 2,000 square meters.
Officials said the rate of allotment would be issued soon.
“The act of rent will be carried out immediately after the number of plots is received.
All green industries (non-pollution) can arrange their units here,” Santosh Kumar said, responsible for industrial cells in Gnida.
