Panaji: By managing at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine to 10.2 lakh people, the state has been vaccinated 85.7% of the eligible population (18 and above).
However, only 22% were entirely vaccinated and 63.7% only received their first jab.
On Thursday, 8,790 people were vaccinated, including around 60% took their first dose.
State immunization officer Dr.
Rajendra Borkar said vaccination continued at a steady speed.
Until now, around 120 pregnant women were vaccinated in Goa.
The state also has not received ahead of vaccination of foreigners and also has not received communication from the center of the vaccination of children.
The target of the state is to manage at least the first dose of vaccines up to 100% of the population that qualify at the end of July.
South Goa has given a dose of 6.8 lakh and North Goa has given a dose of 6.2 lakh.
Some health centers have started the vaccination of the elderly door, bed, and people with disabilities and driving through vaccination.
