851 New Covid-19 Cases, 15 Deaths Reported in Karnataka

Bengaluru: Karnataka on Tuesday recorded 851 fresh Covid-19 cases and 15 deaths, taking the total number of infections to 29,56,988 and the toll road to 37,441.
That day also saw 790 release, taking the total number of recovery in the state as far as 29.02.089.
Bengaluru Urban contributed most of the new cases (248), because the city saw 362 release and three deaths.
The total number of active cases reached 17,432, the Bulletin said the Ministry of Health.
While the level of participants for that day stood at 0.71 percent, the case mortality rate (CFR) was 1.76 percent.
Behind Bengaluru Urban in the number of deaths is Dakshina Kannada (4), Kodagu, MySuru and Shivamogga reported each other, followed by others.
Among new cases, Dakshina Kannada reported 227, Udupi 74, Mysuru 53, Chikkamagaluru 49, followed by others.
Bengaluru Urban District Peak the list of positive cases, with a total of 12,39,972, followed by Mysuru 1,76,623 and Tumaku 4,19,514.
Among the release too, Bengaluru Urban was above with 12.16,873, followed by Mysuru 1.73,361 and Tumakuru 1,17,728.
Cumulatively total 4.45.68,501 samples were tested in a state so far, where 1,18,791 on Tuesday only.
