9 hepatitis A case in a week shows the people of noida

Noida: Nine cases of hepatitis A in the past week in sector 79 people have triggered concern among residents there, most of whom have limited themselves to the house.
Although the exact cause of infection is still checked, a doctor who treats most patients raises questions about the quality of water supplied to households.
The house for around 650 families, Gaur Sportswood reported the first case of Hepatitis A on November 29.
And since then, eight more residents have been diagnosed with hepatitis A or jaundice.
“At first I thought I had covid.
Just now I realized it had something to do with the heart.
I’m not sure how exactly I contracted an infection,” said Sanjay Ghosh, who lives with his family in Flat Number 1524 in Tower F.
Most patients develop symptoms Dr.
Amit Sachdeva, who runs his clinic in Mahagun Moderne in Sector 78.
“I have seen eight up to nine patients for the past week.
Everything comes from Gaur Sportswood.
I get a test of liver function for them and observing them has increased levels of liver enzymes .
After this, the hepatitis A test of an IgM antibody was carried out.
They were all found to have hepatitis A, “said Dr.
Sachdeva.
The doctor told TI the main causes can be contaminated with water.
“But no other community in the 7x sector has so far reported many cases of liver disease.
It could be some internal problems associated with water in Gaur Sportswood,” he added.
As a word about hepatitis A spread through the WhatsApp group made by residents, it was found that patients came from three out of a total of nine towers occupied.
“Our research doctors say that water sources need to be seen.
If there is nothing wrongly found with it, we need to see other causes,” said Sanwarjeet Singh, a resident.
He added that the affected family all used water purifiers, but now it has turned to drink only boiled water.
The population raised this problem with noida authority last week.
A team visited the community on Sunday and examined the supply network.
“There is nothing wrongly found by water supply to Gaur Sportswood.
The same water reaches out to other communities in the environment too.
We have collected samples from this community and will test them.
There may be some problems in the internal supply network that might have polluted water,” RP Singh said, Deputy General Manager (Water and Sewerage Works) in authority.
Singh also said that the infrastructure of end-to-end water supply for the kitchen needs to be thoroughly checked.
Because the community has not been submitted to the population, the GAURS group is maintaining daily maintenance and operation.
A spokesman for the company said, “We get a supply of ganga water for residents in our community.
We are committed to good health from our occupants.
We see this problem, there may be several reasons behind it, including water coming from outside the source of society.
