9 out of 17 Maha Omicron patients are now free viruses

Mumbai: Nine of 17 Omicron patients in Maharashtra have been dismissed from hospitals, according to state health officials.
These patients, asymptomatic or suffer from mild disease, have been tested negatively for the SARS-COV-2 virus which causes covid in the hospital.
But experts are warned against taking omicron variants lightly because the number of ‘Omicron suspects’ continues to increase.
While 40 more suspects were received at Seven Hills Hospital, Andheri, two more men were treated at Bombay Hospital on Saturday, taking the number of suspects in a private hospital to four so far.
Anticipating a further increase in the number of infected travelers from high-risk or risky countries, BMC has enabled hospital candy violations to establish a separate Omicron Ward.
Omicron renewal of the state government said seven Omicron patients had been dismissed until Saturday morning, but BMC officials in Mumbai said that two more patients were dismissed from the Seven Hills Hospital at night, taking total to nine.
Other patients incurred including four in Pimpri-Chinchwad and each of Pune and Kalyan-Dompivli.
“We don’t have more cases reported today because genetic sequencing takes time,” said the State Supervisory Officer, Dr.
Pradeep kicked on Saturday.
On Friday, Omicron Caseload has jumped from 10 to 17 with the discovery of three patients in Mumbai and four more at Pimpri-Chinchwad.
Since December 1, a sample of 133 tourists who tested the positive Covid-19 had been sent for genome sequencing.
Of these, 26 tourists were identified as covid-19-positive right at the airport while 107 others were identified during the supervision of the field for travelers who had arrived from risky countries or at high risk between 1 and 30 November.
“The results of 51 samples are still awaited,” said Dr.
Dragon.
In Mumbai, Seven Hills Hospital Dean Dr.
B Adsul said there were 40 suspects Omicron stored in isolation.
“Of the five omicrons with us, three have been repatriated while two are still with us,” he said.
He said they would be tested once again on Monday when they finished 10 positive testing days for the first time.
Regarding two new patients at Bombay Hospital, Dr.
Gautam Bhansali said: “They are 32-year-old people who arrive from Australia and France before a week.
While someone asymptomatic, the others have the loss of odor but there are no other symptoms.” Dr Shashank Joshi, who is a member of the Covid Task Force of the State Government, said that even though Omicron remained light so far, “a lot of research is needed in India to understand how effective our vaccines”.
He said people had to keep wearing facial masks and maintaining physical distances.
Kem Dean Hospital Dr.
Hemant Deshmukh said the Omicron variant has the potential to cause the third wave in the state and country.
One of the latest studies from the UK, one of the three countries where the spread of the Omicron community began separately from South Africa and Denmark, expecting the omicron wave to build in January and continued until April.
This study, conducted by the London School of Experts Hygiene and Tropical Medicine who also advised the British government, emerged with possible results: The pessimistic scenario anticipates 34.2 million infections and 74,900 deaths between December 1 and April 1 while optimistic anticipates 20.9 million infections and 24,700 deaths.
