HYDERABAD: The continuing second wave of this Covid-19 pandemic is going to have debilitating and lasting effect on the lives of several kids in Telangana. In only 1 month of their next wave, nine kids from Telangana have lost their parents into Covid-19. The other 17 have lost one parent the main bread winner of the family generally. Each these cases are reported on the kid helpline set up from the department of women and child welfare, Telangana authorities, between April 19 and May 18. The majority of these kids are currently staying together with their immediate relatives, and many are anticipating a move to the child care associations when they undergo the initial injury. The majority of the orphans and half of orphans drop from the age range of 10 to 18 decades. “Of those two orphans, four are having child care associations. Rest of those five are using their relatives. In the 2 instances we watched, the kids are being cared for by their blood relatives,” said Gade Mahender Reddy, district child safety officer, Warangal Rural.
