BARUPUR: Two people were arrested on Mondays and more than 90 kg of marijuana confiscated from their ownership in the South Pargana district of Bengal Bengal Barat, police said.
Acting on a tip-off, the police intercepted a taxi near the Barupur train station and seized Oly’s Owned Goods than Rs 3 Lakh from the vehicle, a police officer said.
Two car residents, both new residents, were arrested and ordered under narcotics law and psychotropic substances (NDPS), 1985, he added.
