The fifth blood serum survey was tested for antibodies, known as the Sero survey conducted between August and early September including 8,674 adults where almost 65% of the subjects were vaccinated.
The survey also revealed that more women had Covid-19 antibodies compared to their male counterparts of 88.29% compared to 85.07%.
The prevalence of Sero is significantly higher in individuals who have received the first dose or both doses of Covid-19 vaccine compared to those who are not vaccinated, the survey by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is recorded.
“As a sero-prevaltion among those who are vaccinated much higher than colleagues who are not vaccinated, it is important to strengthen the ongoing Covid-19 vaccination program,” the report.
The crowded financial hub in India Mumbai won this year’s praise for handling the second wave of pandemics better than other metropolitan in this country.
The findings of the report came when worries around the emergence of the third wave still existed.
