Navi Mumbai: About 91% of the adult population in Navi Mumbai has received a second dose of Covid vaccines.
According to NMMC data, 116% of the adult population that qualified, based on the target set by the state government, has been immunized with the first dose of vaccines.
With this, the number of covid doses given in the NMMC area has reached 23 lakh.
Of these, more than 14.50 doses of lakh were given to those aged 18-45 years.
Meanwhile, NMMC’s efforts to vaccinate children in the 15-18 year age group have generated encouraging responses, with more than 56,000 from the projection of 72,000 beneficiaries to get the first dose of vaccines since the drive was launched on 3.
