COIMBATORE: The Tirupur town police on Sunday arrested a container truck driver and captured 915 liquor bottles by the truck.
The bottles have been smuggled from Karnataka.
Acting to a tip-off, the 15 Velampalayam authorities conducted automobile checks on Poondi Ring Road.
On assessing a truck, authorities discovered 915 liquor bottles hidden in the car.
Police detained the truck driver M Rajagopal, 31 of Mangalapatti at Dharmapuri district.
