Thiruvananthapuram: The country witnessed 9,445 positive cases of 82,689 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
Among new cases detected, 7,976 people have taken vaccines, 3,333 has taken both doses, and 2,450 has not even taken a single dose.
The current total active case is 76,554, where 9.4% of people are received in hospitals or other care centers.
Meanwhile, 93 Covid deaths were reported, taking victims related to the state to 29,977.
At the same time, 6,723 patients have recovered from the disease.
Among new cases, 9,069 cases have been infected through local deployment.
Infectious contact sources cannot be traced to 297.
Ernakulam reported the highest number of cases with 1,517, followed by Thiruvananthapuram (1,284), Kozhikode (961), Thrissur (952), Kollam (790), Idukki (562), Pathanamthitta (464), Malappuram (441), Kannur (422), Palakkad (393), Alappuzha (340), Wayanad (333) and Kasaragod (146).
There are 2,68,639 people today under observations in various districts, where 2,60,359 are in their homes or institutional quarantine centers, and 8280 in isolation in hospitals.
In accordance with the weekly infection population ratio, 211 wards in 158 local bodies have more than 10% WIPR.
