Thiruvananthapuram: The country witnessed 9,470 Covid cases from 88,310 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
Among new cases, 7,915 people were vaccinated and 2,551 had not taken a single dose.
The total case reported in the country until the date has reached 47,96,725.
The current total active case is 1,13,132, where 10.4% of people are accepted both in hospitals or other care centers.
The state also reported the death of 101 Covid, took the death toll to 26,173.
At the same time, 12,881 patients have recovered from this disease.
Among new cases, 8,971 cases have been infected through local transmission.
Infection contact sources cannot be traced to 397.
There are 48 health professionals among those infected and 54 people have arrived from outside the country.
