New Delhi: The ninety-six countries have agreed to recognize the reciprocal Covid-19 vaccination certificate with India, the Minister of Health Union Mansukh Mandaviya said on Tuesday.
The government continues to communicate with the whole world so that the beneficiaries of the world’s largest Covid-19 vaccination program are accepted and recognized, thereby reducing travel for educational, business and tourism purposes, said Mandaviya in a statement.
“At present, 96 countries have approved mutually recognizing the vaccination certificate and also those who recognize the Indian vaccination certificate from travelers who are fully vaccinated with covishield / which approved the Covid vaccine agreed nationally,” Mandaviya said.
In a row, people who travel from these countries are given certain relaxation as said in the Guidelines for the Ministry of Health Union concerning International Arrival issued on October 20, 2021.

Among 96 countries is Canada, USA, England, France, Germany, Belgium, Ireland, Netherlands, Spain, Bangladesh, Mali, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Angola, Nigeria, Benin, Chad, Hungary, Serbia, Poland, Slovak Republic , Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece, Finland, Estonia, Romania, Moldova, Albania, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Sweden, Austria, Montenegro, and Iceland.
Eswatini, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Malawi, Botswana, Namibia, Kyrgyzistan Republic, Belarus, Armenia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Georgia, Andorra, Kua, Bahrain, Qatar, Maldives, Comoros, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Peru, Jamaica, Bahamas and Brazil also have agreed to recognize mutual Covid-19 vaccination certificates with India.
Guyana, Antigua & Barbuda, Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Columbia, Trinidad & Tobago, Commonwealth Dominica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Lebanon, Palestinian state, Syria, South Sudan, Tunisia, Sudan, Egypt, Australia, Mongolia, and the Philippines are other countries.
“The Ministry of Health with the Ministry of External Affairs is in sustainable communication with all countries to recognize the vaccine certificate, and who and the vaccine agreed nationally to facilitate international travel hassle free throughout the country,” Minister said.
“The commitment of the United States to accelerate speed and expand the scope of Covid-19 vaccination throughout the country has resulted in crossing 100 crore milestones in the administration of the dose on October 21, 2021,” he said.
The cumulative vaccine dose given in this country so far below the National Covid-19 vaccination drive has exceeded 109.08 crores.
