Pune: A total of 976 patients recovered on Sunday in the Pune Metropolitan area (PMR), took the total number of positive patients being repatriated to 10.85.708.
PMR added 965 new cases on Sunday, taking the calculation of positive cases to 11.13,781, so far.
The region reported 10 victims, took a total number of deaths of up to 18,666, stating the Covid-19 daily report issued by the district administration.
The total positive positive patient remains below 10,000, which includes 4,614 in hospitals and 4,793 in house isolation.
Rural areas recorded 490 new cases, the highest in the region.
They were followed by the PMC limit, which recorded 247 fresh infections, the PCMC limit, which added 140 new patients.
Other areas in this region such as councils and cantons each have 84 and 4 cases.
A total of 492 patients were dismissed in rural areas, followed by 249 in the PMC limit, 168 in the PCMC limit, 59 on the board and eight patients recovered within the Cantonese Base.
The PMC limit records 5 deaths on Sundays, the highest in the region.
As many as 4 patients positively lost their lives in rural areas and one patient gave up in the PCMC limit.
There were no deaths reported in the limits of the Cantonments and Council.
The state on Sunday reported 4,666 new cases, took the overall calculation to 64,56,939.
Maharashtra has reported less than 5,000 cases for the past three days.
Mumbai reported 345 new cases and the case now reached 7.43,499.
Death remains stagnant in the state, but falls in Mumbai.
Maharashtra reported 131 deaths took the victim to 1.37,157.
Covid cases are active in the state on Sunday.
The state has 52,844 active cases, up from 51,821.
