99.06% of students, staff of the University of Women Akkamahadevi vaccinated

Mysuru: Students, the Faculty of Teaching and Non-Teaching continues to show a good response to ongoing vaccination drives, which are expected to help the university start the class on the earliest campus.
As many as 99.06% of students and staff of the University of Akkamahadevi (Vijayapura) have been vaccinated, while Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) has achieved 75% vaccination.
Nearly 60% for Mysore University (UOM).
According to data, 99.06% of 44,000 students, 2,200 teachings and 315 non-teaching staff from female universities have received vaccines.
“We have appointed 12 Nodal officers to ensure that our students and staff are vaccinated earliest.
This will help us start physical classes,” said Chancellor of Universitas B said Tulasimala, added that they had formed the WhatsApp group for that purpose.
VTU, one of the largest universities in the state, has 2,92,668 students, 18,190 teachings and 14,183 non-teaching staff.
From them, 2.43 lakh people have received a vaccine.
A driving lights on 219 VTU affiliated institutes.
VTU Vice-Chancellor Karisiddappa said the Institute they made vaccination drives such as festivals.
“This helps us vaccinate a large number of students on campus,” he explained.
Of the 1.27 lakh students, 9,421 teaching staff and 2,606 staff non-teaching UOM, 82,970 received vaccines (59.38%).
“We send messages to all students to find out if they are vaccinated or not.
At the end of this week, we will get a clear picture of this,” said Registrar Uom R Shivappa.
University of Kuvempu (Shivamogga) also carried out vaccination drives quickly.
So far, he has stabbed 62.46% of his students and staff.
