Pune: The Metropolitan Pune region (PMR) added 997 Covid-19 cases on Tuesday due to 907 recovery due to the increasing number of tests in the last 24 hours.
Rural areas continue to add more than 500 new cases, while the PMC and PCMC areas add 243 and 168 fresh infections.
Daily counts in this region have around 1,000 on almost the past week, while daily sample testing has lived more than 20,000.
On Tuesday, 27,515 samples were tested in the region, which encouraged the progressive calculation of the test to 69.98 lakh.
More than 15,500 samples were tested in rural areas and Cantonese on Tuesday.
A total of 7,840 samples were examined in the PMC limit and 4.142 within the Chinchwad Pimpri limit.
Health officials said concentrated efforts were taking place in rural areas to identify patients.
Calculate the positive case increased to 11.15 lakh at PMR on Tuesday, while the recovery reached 10.87 lakh.
Seven people surrendered to infection at PMR on Tuesday.
The calculation of active patients in this region rose further to 9,353 on Tuesday night, including 4,648 patients in house isolation.
