BALOG: Trying to bring positive changes in the lives of underprivileged children in Balod District Chhattisgarh, an Ishwari Kumar Sinha school teacher has provided education that supports technology to them for 13 years.
Sinha, a government school teacher at Balod, said he began this effort in 2011 by buying a small sound system to equip children with technology.
“There were 300 students at school when I was posted here in 2008.
Government funds were used for basic school needs.
So to introduce these children with technology, I bought a small sound system in 2011,” he said.

Asked about how this idea came to him, Sinha said he himself belonged to a village in Rajim where they lost facilities and he wanted to make changes to these children.
Sinha has taught children at home for a year now when schools in the state are closed considering the Pandemic Covid-19.
Balod District collector Jankejay Mahobe praised Sinha for his service to education.
“Ishwari Kumar Sinha has done a good job in the field of education.
He took personal interest in his students.
He understood the technology and educated the students with the same assistance.
His devotion to education is an example for other teachers here,” he said.
