According to a report, Sangeeta aka Priyanka, a resident of Chhatral Kayamganj Kotwali Village, was bitten by a snake at his home on Wednesday morning.
According to the police, when the woman was unconscious, her relatives took her to the public health center.
The doctors after giving his first assistance referred him to Lohia’s hospital where he was declared dead but his relatives did not agree to accept that the woman was dead.
Then, they took him to a tantrik in the city of Aliganj in the refeshe district where tantrik after doing some rituals claimed that the dead woman would come back to life within 24 hours and asked family members to bring the bodies back home.
When there was no miracle, relatives took him to another inti in a village near Dhai Ghat in the Shamshabad area.
There also when Tantrik failed to instill living in him, they then took Sangeeta’s body to his house, the police said.
When the father’s uncle came from West Bengal and reportedly practiced magic, his relatives after consulting him on the cellphone did another ritual by binding clothes around his dead body.
When they fail again, they consider Sangeeta to die, and notify the police to carry out post-mortem checks in the woman to get compensation.
The last rite was carried out almost 32 hours after his death, the police said next.

“Instead of going to the doctor after a snake bites, the superstitious people risked their lives by being trapped in a tantric vicious circle.
