Mumbai: Chairman of the Minister of UDDHAV Thackeray on Saturday appealed to all political, religious and social organizations to avoid events that lead to crowding and endanger the lives of the community as a pandemic Covid-19 yet end.
When talking to the media after inaugurating the Covid-19 children’s care center at IT Park in Kalina Campus, Thackeray said that to serve their interest, political parties should not do anything that will endanger the lives of society.
“The threat of Covid-19 still looks great, the pandemic has not ended and people should not let their guard down.
If the rules are not followed, the third wave will hit us faster than anticipated,” Thackeray said.
This appeal came a few days after the BJP Minister who had just been appointed from the country issued Yatra Jan Aashirwad in Maharashtra.
Thackeray also said that the government has stimulated restrictions only to maintain the economic cycle of moves and humans should not be a prey of any provocation that will bear their risk.
“It must be criticized once again that oxygen production in the country has not increased significantly and so after the use of oxygen in the country crosses 700MT, we must impose the lock.
If a lock must be avoided, citizens must not fall prey to any provocation and must follow all the rules , “he said.
Experts voiced concerns that the third wave might most affect the children, therefore the Government of Maha Vikas Aghadi has established a 30 bed pediatric ward on the Kalina campus of the University of Mumbai.
Ward has a playroom for children and rooms for parents to live with children.
Meanwhile, Thackeray also inaugurated 20 new ambulances that had been donated to the government by various groups and individuals.
