Thane: Thane Constable police attached to the Ramnagar police station in Dombivli had been arrested for persecuting a little girl.
After the arrest, police on Saturday suspended for his crimes.
He posted with the same Ramnagar police station.
Cases below section 354 of the Indian criminal code (persecution) and under some parts of the children’s protection from the Sexual Act (Pocso) registered on Thursday after the minor girl accused Satish Karle, a resident of its building, persecuting her daughter on the stairs .
Acting on the complaint the victim’s mother, police register FIR against Karle and arrested.
A senior police officer said that after arrest, Karle was produced before the Kalyan session court, which sent it to the trial detention.
After the incident, Thane police on Saturday suspended Karle from assignments.
