Madurai: Giving assistance to a trans man by letting him reunite with a woman who was detained against his will by his father, Madras High Court observed that two had signed a good relationship that was protected and permitted under the constitution.
The court heard the Habeas Corpus petition submitted by Trans Man before the HC Madurai bench tried to free the woman.
The court observed that when asked the applicant and the woman, both of them stated that they had established a relationship for more than three years.
Considering that the woman was a major and was willing to go with his own volition, the court distanced him in Liberty and allowed him to go with the applicant.
