Chennai: After the CCTV camera footage of a group of lawyers who exchanged a hit at the Kotturpuram police station became Viral Online, the Tamil Nadu Council and Puducherry had passed the resolution of suspending seven advocates accused of being involved in acts of violence.
Seven is J Balamurugan and V Nepoleon from Sivaganga, M Engles Kancheepuram, P Manikandan, D Padmanabhan, R day Haran and S Rajesharan from Chennai.
“Resolution prohibits them from practicing as an advocate in all courts, courts and other authorities in India both in their names or in the name that is assumed to dispersions the disciplining process is delayed to them,” Read Notification from King Kumar’s Office, “Secretary, Tamil Bar Board Nadu and Puducherry.
The police have ordered advocates under various parts of the IPC including part 323 (voluntarily causing wounds), 506 (1) (criminal intimidation), among others, clashes between lawyers rupture at the Kotturpuram police station on Tuesday.
The clash was caused by Disputes about the road laid on the fourth lane Naidu Street in Kotturpuram.
One of the residents, a lawyer who is now suspended, opposed the road that claimed that it would flood his house during the rainy season.
Chairman of the PS Amalaj Bar Board, said the lawyer was suspended for interests public and to maintain dignity, decorum and to handle An legal professional etiquette.
