SRINAGAR: The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of Mehbooba Mufti’s head on Saturday demanded the recovery of special status of J & K for “peace in the continental child”.
He discussed the public rally denied by South Kulgam.
Mehbooba said for eternal peace in Kashmir, the Indian government must restore the special status of J & K, which they sambar illegally on August 5, 2019, by canceling Article 370 and locking Article 35A.
He also demanded that the center must solve Kashmir’s problem through dialogue.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the People’s Conference (PC) Sajad Lone attacked in the future of the regional party to avoid the request for the recovery of Article 370 during the virtual meeting of all 19 opposition parties on Friday, chaired by Congress Head Sonia Gandhi.
PC is not part of a meeting of all parties.
Sajad confirmed that the silence of 19 parties in Article 370 and 35A was the same as the “Ratification of Revocation”.
“Meeting of 19 opposition parties by selectively selecting the demand for state (J & K) and the silence of criminals in Article 370 & 35A have supported the revocation of the Special Status of J & K.
In a statement issued after the meeting, it was not mentioned to revoke the decision taken by The BJP government on August 5, 2019 (SIC), “said Sajad in a statement.
He stated that the opposition had buried the demand of the people to bring back Article 370 and 35A, and the rights of Domicile J & K.
“Two senior leaders of Farooq Abdullah from NC and Mehbooba Mufti attended the meeting.
They failed to convince opposition parties to recover article 370 and 35A, and domicile rights over their agenda.
