Ghaziabad: Peddler medicine is held with 85kg marijuana

Ghaziabad: Peddler Drug Arrested with 85 kg of marijuana in his car here, said police said Sunday.
Sanjay Kumar, was arrested on Saturday night near Shahberri crossing the republic here, smuggling consignment from Orissa to Ghaziabad.
Kumar, who came from Darbhanga District at Bihar, lived with his accomplice, Santosh in rented accommodation in Sudama Puri Colony from the Vijay Nagar police station area here, police supervisor (SP) Nipun Agarwal.
The charges arrested told the police that they were used to supply psychotropic substances for small sellers in Ghaziabad, Meerut, Bulandshahar and other districts at the National Capital Region (NCR).
The kiosk owner will use the code words and sell it further to people in a small bag, he said.
Agarwal said the effort was at the accomplice of Nab Kumar’s hand.
